I sat in with the Midnight Movers several years ago at drummer Mark Stewart's invitation and immediately fell in love with his drums! I had to have some "Baltimore Drums"! Keith Larsen is an expert at drum physics, tuning, head selection, etc. and he built my drums. Keith now designs and builds similar drums for Maryland Drum Company . Go check them out! | Percussionist Robert DuPree introduced me to Trueline Drumsticks and I've played with them ever since. I play the "Diamond Grip 5B Rockers" now exclusively... they are 5B weight, a tad longer than most others, and their grip area has a slightly rough diamond grid built in which I find extremely helpful. The sticks always seem to be consistent in balance and feel, too. |
